How wonderful it is to be free

Many people probably think that an animal raised in captivity wouldn’t care too much about what happens outside its cage. The popular justification for this is that it knows no different. But Bandit the Bull proves that freedom shouldn’t be a reward, but a right, and that it is as highly valued by animals as it is by humans.

Bandit has lived in his tiny enclosure all his life and, up until the time of this video, had never been outside his narrow cage alongside 500 other cows, bulls and calves.

One day, the Austrian Gut Aiberbichl farm animal sanctuary came to his rescue, saving not only Bandit but all of his stablemates as well. The video below shows Bandit’s utmost appreciation for his saviour, as well as his new-found freedom.
