Credit report fees to be refunded

If you’ve been charged for accessing your ‘free’ credit history report, then you may be able to claim back your fee.

Veda, one of the main credit reporting agencies in Australia has been found to have breached privacy rules by the Australian Privacy Commissioner. The agency sold commercial products to consumers who requested a copy of their credit report, which, by law, they’re able to access for free once a year.
