Choc-Banana Biscuits

These biscuits are incredibly easy to make and will be ready in a few minutes – so why waste your hard-earned money on the expensive and unhealthy store-bought versions?

Serves: 10

Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 over-ripe banana
  • 250g butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups wholemeal flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Mash the banana with a fork and set aside. Cream the butter and sugar together and then add the banana. Stir in the flour, baking powder, coconut and chocolate chip pieces.

Roll the mixture into balls and place on a lined baking tray. Press the mixture down with a fork and bake for 10 mins. Allow to cool before enjoying.
