Healthy Apple and Raspberry Crumble

This Apple and Raspberry Crumble recipe from Diabetes Australia is a healthy take on an old favourite that is sure to please those with a sweet tooth.

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 800g cooked apple
  • 1 cup frozen (or fresh) raspberries
  • 4 Weet-Bix (or similar)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

Method

Combine chopped cooked apples and berries and place in a casserole dish. Combine lightly crushed Weet-Bix and other crumble ingredients and sprinkle over fruit.

Bake in a moderate oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.

Serve immediately with custard.
