      Hello to everyone.

I am trying to get some insight into this situation.

I am 76yrs young I have a wife younger than pension age who is working and I get my pension reduced due to this.

But according to the gov. rates If my wife earns $1,421.0 we each get $473.10 but as my wife isn’t of pensionable age I just get the $473.10 say what !!!!

To me it is a bit rough and disheartening to my wife.

      Any ideas anyone ?

      Many thanks

      Stuart

      Hi Stuart,
Thanks for reaching out. Without getting into the realm of ‘advice’ it would seem that if your wife is earning money and is not of pension age, then you may well be receiving the right pension. Having said that, I would suggest you contact a Services Australia Financial Information Service Officer who will be able to answer your specific question.
      Hope that helps!
