ModeratorBurger King made an addition to its Thailand menu, with a Real Cheese Burger containing nothing but, well, cheese.
20 slices to be precise.
It seems a strange snack to our Australian tastebuds but it was one that sent local foodie Instagrammers there into a photographic frenzy.
The Twitter feed of a Thai travel guide writer, Richard Barrow explained the interest in the menu addition by saying “A trend in Thailand is to put cheese on literally everything”.
But 20 slices?
Even the locals who tastes the oozy, gooey burger for themselves found it “over the top”, according to reports to CNN Thailand.
Others thought it must have been a joke.
But if the burger ever makes it to Australian menus for the global fast food chain, I think there will be some doctors who don’t see it as any laughing matter.Would you eat 20 slices of cheese in a ‘burger’? What’s your favourite burger? And your favourite cheese? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

ParticipantBurgers in Thailand from the major chains are pretty bland, same as the pizzas. Wouldn’t waste my baht on them. Thai food is much better, tastier and cheaper.
