Look, I could understand Vegemite chicken, though Vegemite chocolate was nasty, would probably try Vegemite hot pockets for the novelty value, but Vegemite hot cross buns? Just no.
Apparently it’s a bit of mix between Vegemite and cheese scrolls and hot cross buns. No, not going near it.
I’m one of the few people who do not care what time hot cross buns turn up in the supermarket and will try different flavours but I think the Vegemite hot cross bun is a step too far.
However, you feel about it I guess all these weird flavours get Vegemite in the headlines, and I suppose that’s the main thing for them.
Would you eat Vegemite hot cross buns?
Vegemite on hot cross buns is great. So is Vegemite on finger buns. In fact I’m enjoying butter and Vegemite on fruit cake right now!
Don’t know about Vegi hot cross buns but on other pieces of bread yes. Vegemite is good for you and tastes great. Toasted cheese and vegemite sandwiches are great. NO not VHCBs.
Providing it is a savoury hot cross bun – yes! Don’t really like the normal sweet hot cross buns.
Love Vegemite, love hot cross buns, but the two together???? No,no,no,no,no.
