Centrelink clients eligible for Energy Bill Relief Fund subsidies will soon be getting a letter on how to give online consent to share your details to energy providers.

If you don’t want to give Centrelink your consent, you can contact your electricity retailer directly.

Once your electricity retailer has confirmed your Centrelink details with Centrelink, they will pay you automatically.

How much you get and when you get it, depends on where you live.

You will get your rebate automatically if you get a state energy concession or live in Queensland or Western Australia.

Are you eligible for an energy discount. Are you happy handing over your details to Centrelink?
