My windscreen wipers always seem to make a noise in wet weather. My granddaughter told me she read that if you put 2 drops of baby shampoo in the water container, this would solve my problem, so I did, and now they are very smooth working and no noise. Yay!!

Fantastic! Plagued by squeaking windscreen wipers for an hour last night. I know I should buy some more but this tip is great. Thanks.

Shampoo or hair conditioner both works great. Tried it also on a car that has a set of wipers that weren’t working, I was able to survive driving through a torrential rain without having problems with my visibility due to the fact that these hair products have the capacity to somehow repel rain as the surface of the windshield becomes really smooth when you apply them.
