Mazda has issued a huge recall of close to 200,000 cars covering the models Mazda3 (BM, BN) and CX-3 (DK) built between 2013 and 2020.

The recall is due to a faulty wiring causing the rearview camera to become ‘distorted or flicker’, posing a risk of injury or death to anyone standing behind the car.

Mazda will contact owners of affected vehicles when parts are available to fix the issue. This service will be free.

For more information contact Mazda Support on 1800 034 411 or email customersupport@mazda.com.au.

Does this cover your car? Have you experienced any problems?
