Bad news for chocoholics, the price of cocoa is set to soar in the coming season as cocoa beans are trading at record levels.

The record prices are being pushed up by flooding in many growing regions and it doesn’t help that sugar is also selling for historically high prices.

And it’s not going to ease up any time soon with supply expected to be tight for the next season.

So what’s that mean. Well expect your block of chocolate to go up by about 25 per cent.

I known people who would buy chocolate whatever the price, will you be one of them?
