Residents of Queensland aged 55 and over who upgrade their home appliances to ones with a 4-star energy rating or higher up to $1000 back on their purchase from the state government under the Climate Smart Energy Savers program.

To qualify for the rebate, appliances must be purchased and installed on or after 4 September 2023. The Queensland government says program funding is limited, and rebate applications will be assessed in the order of their submission.

Once the funding is exhausted, the program will close. Before making a purchase, do check the website again to ensure that the program is still open.
