Expect stamps to rise again in the new year.
Australia Post has issued a draft proposal to raise the cost of basic postage rate from $1.10 to $1.20 from January 2023.
Australia Post has also proposed an increase in the prices for ordinary large letters from $2.20 to $2.40 for letters up to 125 grams and $3.30 to $3.60 for letters between 125 grams and 250 grams.
Thankfully hardly anyone posts letters anymore and at least it’s after the Christmas rush.
