A recall has been issued by Patties Food Group (most famous for their party pies and sausage rolls), for three of its On The Menu brand instant meals.

The recall affects the On The Menu Entrée 3 Cheese Macaroni (260g) with best before dates of 27/03/26 and 14/03/26; On The Menu Entrée Beef Lasagne (260g) with best before dates of 12/03/26 and 20/03/26; and On The Menu Entrée Spaghetti and Meatballs (260g) with a best before date of 19/03/26.

These meals have been on sale nationally at Coles and Woolworths and also at independent retailers such as IGA.

The recall is due to an error on the packaging, oven cooking instructions are not compatible with product tray. Patties Food Group says the tray may melt if oven cooking instructions are followed.

Patties advises the items are still safe to consume if microwave instructions are followed, otherwise they can return the item to its place of purchase for a full refund.
