A popular beer sold at a number of liquor outlets in Queensland (including Dan Murphy’s) has been recalled over fears its alcohol content is too high.

Pacer Beer is manufactured by Fortitude Brewing Company, who have issued the recall for its six- and 24-packs, with best-before dates of 15/02/2024 and 16/02/2024.

Fortitude says the issues is due to the beer undergoing a “secondary fermentation” process. The company warns consumers against consuming the beer, as food products containing excess alcohol and carbonation may cause illness/injury if consumed.

Anyone who has purchased some of this beer should return it to its place of purchase for a full refund.

      Do you drink Pacer Beer?
