A recall has been issued for Ceres Organic’s popular hulled and unhulled tahini products, over fears of salmonella contamination.

Food Standards Australia New Zealand says the product may cause illness if consumed and customers should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

The product had been on sale nationally at Woolworths both in-store and online.
