There’s been a recall issued for McCain Foods’ frozen BBQ Chicken & Pineapple Family Pizza 500g with a best before date of APR 2025 097; and also for McCain’s frozen ham & Pineapple Family Pizza 500g with best before dates of APR 2025 097 and APR 2025 098.

The pizzas have been on sale nationally at Woolworths and IGA, at Coles and Aldi in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA, NT and WA and Drakes in QLD and SA.

The recall is due to the presence of foreign matter (metal) – and no it’s not because people hate pineapple on pizza.

McCain’s advises customers not to consume the pizzas and to return to their place of purchase for a full refund.
