A recall has been issued for the Anko brand Bluetooth GPS Smart Tag tracker. The item is a cheaper version of Apple’s AirTags, are compatible with Apple devices and have been on sale at Kmart stores nationally.

The tags are being recalled as they don’t conform to mandatory safety standards for button/coin batteries. The product does not come with safety instructions and the batteries can cause severe internal burns and/or death if swallowed by children.

Customers are advised to keep the product out of reach of children and to contact Kmart to receive the warning information.
