Do you sleep next to a snorer? Well, if they use this common spray used to treat snoring they may want to pay attention.

A recall has been issued for Puranox Anti-Snoring Throat Spray in the 25g bottle, which is on sale nationally at pharmacies such as Chemist Warehouse, Terry White Chemist, Priceline and independent pharmacies.

The recall has been issued specifically for batch number 401 and the batch number should be visible on the bottle’s label. The recall is due to an incomplete ingredient list printed on the label.

The spray contains xylitol and hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose, both of which are missing from the label. Customers who are allergic to these chemicals may unknowingly ingest them and have a reaction.

Customers are advised to stop using the product immediately and email Actor Pharmaceuticals providing a photo of the batch number to receive a refund of the product.
