Strangelove Beverage Company is recalling its popular Salted Grapefruit 540ml soft drink product over fears the drink may have undergone an unintended fermentation process, resulting in the undeclared presence of alcohol.

The recall affects bottles with a best before date of 09/08/2025, which have been on sale nationally at Woolworths, at Dan Murphy’s in NSW, ACT, QLD and VIC and at Coles in VIC only.
The product has also been sale by the independent retailers in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA and NT.

Even if you don’t mind the undeclared alcohol, Strangelove has expressed concern the glass bottles are now over-carbonated and could bottles breaking.

If you have purchased one of these bottles, safely dispose of it and send proof of purchase directly to Strangelove for a full refund. Refunds are also available through the retailer you purchased the drink through.

Do you drink Strangelove Salted Grapefruit soft drink?
