I see no reason to take an animal to Bunnings. If it is a service animal with appropriate vest on to show it’s credentials, than yes. Other pets can be left at home while you shop. The workers at Bunnings should not have to clean up messes from animals or children. People expect workers in any retail environment will clean up after them when in reality that is not what they are paid to do or in their job description. This WOKE society want all the rights but not responsibilities that come with being part of a society – if they’re going to get their hands dirty. I just get so frustrated when I read these articles.
It’s because some people think their dogs are human and in fact treat them better than they treat other people.
I didn’t know you could take dogs into Bunnings and am surprised they allow it. I have never seen a dog inside our local Bunnings.
I sometimes take my dog, she does NOT leave any messages and I wouldn’t expect anyone to clean up after my pets. And I don’t believe in allowing her to be a nuisance, she sits quietly in the top basket.
First time I hear that some dogs do not leave messages until they get home. If people take their dogs for a walk they invariable do leave a message, why not in a store. In any case, I do not think people should take their animals into a store, unless they are service animals wearing an appropriate vest. These people have no choice, and should not be stopped from entering any store.
