ParticipantSupermarket giant Woolworths has been named Australia’s most trusted brand at the inaugural Roy Morgan Trusted Brand Awards.
The awards name the most trusted brands in a number of categories including supermarkets, retail, technology and insurance brands.
Woolworths was named most trusted supermarket, as well as most trusted overall.
Roy Morgan CEO Michele Levine said Woolworths had impressed shoppers with their consistently good service and competitive prices.
“Respondents to the survey rated Woolworths highly for good quality products and displaying a customer-focused attitude with good service and affordable,” she says.
“Another key factor mentioned was the low prices in a time when people are keeping a closer eye on prices than ever before, and that they’re a reliable, dependable, accountable, and responsible community-minded business.”
Do you shop at Woolworths? Would you agree they’re the most trusted brand in Australia?

ParticipantI tend to accept Aldi is in our opinion the most trusted brand. Woolworths may be a close second! Weekly shopping at Aldi certainly definitely saves a few dollars.

ParticipantTrust is all very well but with trust and $3.00 I can buy a 2 litre of milk. I don’t like my chances without the $3.00. I shop at both Aldi and Woolies as Aldi has the cheapest prices and Woolies has the products that I can’t get at Aldi. When you’re on fixed income the cost matters not the frills.
