There’s another scam to watch out for.

Customers of Booking.com are being targeted in the latest phishing scam.

Customers are being asked for a return conformation message in an attempt to gain their banking and credit card details.

The scam asks the customer to hand over details or their booking will be cancelled.

Booking.com has denied a data breach and instead has blamed partner hotels and accommodation providers, but they claim they do not have access to clients’ details as Booking.com holds the data.

Travellers say they emails come from noreply@bookings.com

Booking.com has said any customers who have any concerns about messages should check the payment policy of the accommodation on the property’s listing page or contact Booking.com’s customer service team.

Have you ever suffered an online scam while travelling
