Move over Shaniqua, Breeze, YoungBlood and Gypsy. Vintage baby names are apparently storming back into fashion.

A baby naming consultant – who knew there was such a thing! – reveals on Instagram that vintage baby names are becoming “new again”.

“Old vintage names … timeless, beautiful, elegant, handsome,” says Michelle. “They are new again. And I’m loving them!!”

Girls’ names pointed out in the video, which has been liked more than 170,000 times, include: Aurelia, Posey, Effie, Elsie, Betty, Vivienne, Hattie, Winnie, Olive and Hazel.

Vintage boys names that are back include: Walter, Ted, Winston, August, Archibald, Silas, Stanley, Miles, Theodore, Quentin and Caspian.
