Airline Virgin Australia has begun its first flight sale of the year, with around half a million seats on sale, some for as little as $49 for the Sydney to Ballina (Byron Bay) trip.

Other highlights include international return flights from Melbourne to Queenstown, NZ for $395 and just $549 to fly from Sydney to Bali.

And there’s no rush to take your flight either, with flights on sale now to fly between 29 January and late November 2024.
