Why is there another fish kill?

      There’s been yet another fish kill on the Darling River. Why is this still happening?

      Well, hot days and poor water flows suck oxygen out of the system are the immediate answers but beyond that, there seems to be a grey area where everyone is either scratching their heads or pointing at each other.

      Thing is, there shouldn’t be poor flows on the Darling, we have had one of the wettest years on record. Where has that water gone?

      Whatever the reason, for goodness sake can we not have yet another report, committee, town meeting or focus group?

      Residents recently asked officials to drink the water and some forced it down but there is no way in hell I would, would you?
