In terrible news for coffee lovers, poor crops this year in several different coffee-growing regions of the world – including Mexico and Vietnam – have left global coffee supplies with a bit of a shortfall this year.

Newfound demand for coffee in China is also partly to blame for the shortage, as exports to the country have ballooned recently.

Thankfully, you should still be able to get coffee – but expect prices to rise soon. No more cheap coffee, although that ship probably sailed a while ago.

So, coffee addicts can relax for now, but expect some price pain on the way.

Are you a big coffee drinker?
