There has been no satisfactory reason as to WHY he did this. Perplexity from political commentators is a common factor. Yet, no one has suggested one reason which in Morrison’s case is worth consideration. His religious convictions. Does he believe he is empowered by his god to have done this? In his internal conversations with his friend on high, did he hear what he wanted to hear – you are the only one to carry out the wishes of your maker?  Too silly? Hmm…
