4b2, Russel, Tom Tank, Viking  and Suze raise a number of sensible points and appear to be thinking about what is current.

Why raise  France in WW1, Australia had a minuscule part in a much larger force, France was never involved in a war in Australia.  Old inaccurate jingoism seems a bit silly really.
