Also, all should be wearing helmets every time they use their scooter the same as bike riders.

I was driving a truck when I was 14. It was on my Uncle’s farm and I drove the truck full of bags of wheat to the grain silo. A policeman pulled me up one day wanting to know why I was driving the truck. I said my uncle was busy harvesting the wheat so he didn’t have time to take the bags to the silo. He then said that was good and to drive safely.

Yes, we do. They also don’t have to be built near any built-up area. There is plenty of room for a couple in the outback. All that is needed are transmission lines to link the cities.

Yes I agree we still need some cash for small items like the local paper and other small cost items. This should apply in the country areas more so than the cities.

I remember Mcwhirter’s in Brisbane. However, my memory is not all that solid to allow me much more than the name.

I believe dog owners should have to undertake a course on dog handling and training, especially for larger dogs. I had German Shepards and trained them when I was younger and I could walk them without a lead and they would not leave my side unless they were given a command to do so.
Respect your dog and they will respect you.

If she feels good about running around in a swimsuit good on her. Some may be jealous of her also.

TO EACH HIS/HERS OWN. Don’t worry about what others think about your looks or body because it only causes more stress. Be free and wild!

Vaping should be BANNED completely. A doctor’s prescription must be supplied to obtain them for those wanting to quit smoking.

in reply to: Should we turn off the tax dollar tap to private schools? #1790066

These “Private” schools should NEVER receive taxpayers’ money because they charge each child to attend the school. The money should be spent on public schools. Doing so would help these schools have better facilities instead of rundown buildings and very little equipment for students.

in reply to: We need to help older Australians work before tourists #1787401

I believe older Australians should be given the chance to work before overseas visitors. There are many older people who are willing to work if they were given the chance. However, they should not have to be taxed to the hilt just because they are on a pension or retirement income. Being taxed like high-income workers is wrong and this stops valued older workers from working.
