History of New York in an elevator

You won’t be able to see through the windows of the new One World Trade Center elevator in New York, but you will see 550 years of history.

The dizzying 23mph. elevator ride gives visitors a Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) timelapse of the New York skyline, from 1500s to today, as they journey upwards to the Observation Deck.

As visitors view Manhattan’s evolution over the years, one marked element they will notice is the appearance of the Twin Towers in the 1960s and their disappearance after 9/11.

Why not watch this video to see what a ride in the One World Trade Center elevator is like?
