Commemorating Liz Taylor

An iconic film star during Hollywood’s Golden Age, Elizabeth Taylor was born on this day in 1932. She appeared in memorable films such as Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, starred in Cleopatra and won Academy Awards for Best Actress for Butterfield 8 in 1961 and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in 1966.

Liz Taylor had seven husbands throughout her lifetime, including Richard Burton, who she married, divorced, and remarried between 1964 and 1976. They appeared in 11 films together. 

She would have been 83 today.
