Australia’s cult-hero koala Blinky Bill has hit the big time with his very own animated feature film.
Blinky Bill The Movie is the animated re-imagining of one of our oldest and most-loved furry folk heroes. Some seriously good Australian actors have lent their voices to the film, including Barry Humphries, David Wenham, Richard Roxburgh, Toni Collette and Barry Otto, along with younger stars Robyn McLeavy (as Nutsy), Ryan Kwanten (as Blinky Bill), and Englishman Rufus Sewell (whose father Bill was an Aussie animator).
What promises to be a good fun cartoon romp, Blinky Bill The Movie is coming out on 17 September – just in time for the school holidays.
