Poohisms

Sunday is the anniversary of the birth of A.A. Milne, author of the books which brought Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Eyore and Tigger to life. In celebration, why not remind yourself of some of the wonderful quotes from the inhabitants of 100-acre Wood?

“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.”

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

“Some people care too much. I think it’s called love.”

“Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

“People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.”

“I’m not lost for I know where I am. But however, where I am may be lost.”

“A bear, however hard he tries, grows tubby without exercise.”

“Forever isn’t long at all, Christopher, as long as I’m with you.”

“Any day spent with you is my favourite day. So today is my new favourite day.”

Do you have a favourite Pooh quote? Or do you particularly like any of those above?
