Host John Deeks speaks with Delia Rickard, deputy chair of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Australia has recorded an alarming spike in financial related scams, with a 23 per cent increase in 2020. Ms Rickard discusses the financial and emotional scams that are most prevalent in Australia. She details what to do if you believe you have been scammed and the golden rules to stay safe. She also shares some devious new ways international scammers are trying to access your information.
