The good news in Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In between when you woke up this morning and when you go to sleep tonight, 57 Australian women and men will be told they have breast cancer. The same will happen tomorrow, and the next day and … This makes breast cancer the most common cancer affecting Australian women and, to a lesser degree, men.

Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is a not-for-profit organisation on the front line of support for those affected by breast cancer. In Breast Cancer Awareness Month, BCNA chief executive Kirstin Pilatti says there is some good news among those terrible statistics. She joins host John Deeks to explain on today’s YourLifeChoices podcast.
