Never again miss a phone call

Call Forwarding is a nifty little trick that means you’ll never have to miss a phone call again. It means all inbound calls will be referred from your usual number and forwarded to a number you specify. Today, we’ll show you how to activate it on your iOS or Android device.

iOS

  • open Settings and scroll down until the ‘Phone’ icon appears
  • tap Phone then tap Call Forwarding, flip to On
  • a text box will prompt you to enter a new phone number
  • tap back and exit Settings

The changes will now have taken effect. Repeat the process to turn Call Forwarding off.

Android

  • from the Home screen, tap the phone icon
  • tap the Action Overflow icon (this will appear as three dots); on some phones, you will need to touch the Menu icon to see a list of commands instead
  • tap Settings or Call Settings
  • tap Call Forwarding
  • choose from the selection of forwarding options
  • set the new forwarding number
  • finally, tap Enable or OK to activate the changes.

Repeat the process to turn Call Forwarding off.
