Celebrated musician and songwriter Cole Porter was born on this day in 1891. Best known for his Broadway hits and songs of the silver screen, Porter wrote his first opera at 10 years of age – with a little help from his mum. There may be no record of Cole Porter’s first opus, but we’ve found a nostalgic video of his final score.
